Thoughts

This project took a hot minute to complete, but every part of it is packed with a lot of love and way more research than I expected going in. I ended up learning so much about cat forms—far more than I ever planned—because these flexible little gremlins can twist themselves into the most bizarre and impressive positions. Studying all those poses really shaped how the letters came together and made the whole process surprisingly fun and chaotic in the best way.

In all seriousness, this is one of the biggest and most ambitious projects I’ve tackled so far, both in scale and in the amount of detail involved. Building an entire typeface out of full cat silhouettes and cat-adjacent objects pushed me to think differently about letter structure, balance, and character. I’m genuinely proud of how it turned out, and I hope you all have as much fun experimenting with these little guys as I did bringing them to life.
